On July 25 and 26 we hold roundtables in Naryn and Cholpon-Ata.
Religious leaders actively participate in discussions and group work. Local issues are raised. The groups discuss how to solve these problems together.
- How to strengthen family values in communities?
"We need to create family values schools," participants themselves suggested.
- How to address the burial of the deceased of non-Muslim faith?
"Strengthen state-confessional relationships at the district level."
The next round tables will be held in Kara-Balta and Talas.
The roundtables are organized in all regions of Kyrgyzstan by the Research Center for Religious Studies in partnership with the State Commission on Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and NCP "Search for Common Interests".
